Materials can be imported into vyzn directly from Excel, the Lesosai catalogue (.ldl) and the Archicad material catalogue (.xlsx or .txt). Entire catalogues, including building components and building technology, can be imported in bulk by our support team.
When to Use This
If you already maintain materials or building components in another system – for example Excel, Lesosai or Archicad – you do not need to recreate them manually in vyzn. Instead, you transfer the existing data via import.

Import materials directly
You can import materials into vyzn directly from the following sources:
- Excel
- Lesosai catalogue (.ldl)
- Archicad material catalogue (.xlsx or .txt)
Transfer entire catalogues via support
If you want to transfer a complete catalogue including building components and building technology, proceed as follows:
- Export the data from your source system in a machine-readable format.
- Hand the exported data over to our support team.
- Our support team imports the data into vyzn in one go.
Expected Result
Your materials – or your entire catalogue – are available in vyzn without you having to create each entry individually.
