Explanation
Minergie-ECO checks gray energy and greenhouse gas emissions of construction against two project-specific thresholds:
- GW2: Maximum allowable limit — above it, the exclusion criterion is not fulfilled and certification is not possible
- GW1: Target value — values below GW1 are considered good and earn bonus points
Values between GW1 and GW2 are fulfilled. The thresholds are not fixed per building category but are derived by vyzn project-specifically and automatically from usage, EBF, and building services.
