Short Answer
If the upload stops at a certain percentage or ends with an error message, this is usually caused by very complex elements or by faulty or incomplete modelling in the IFC. Most importantly: whenever an upload fails, our support team is notified automatically – you do not need to report the error yourself.
Issue Description
The upload of your model stops at a certain percentage or ends with an error message.
Root Cause
In most cases the cause is very complex elements or faulty or incomplete modelling in the IFC.
Step-by-Step Solution
- Start the upload again – occasionally this alone resolves the issue.
- If it fails repeatedly, contact support at support@vyzn.tech with the link to the project, the time of the upload and – if one is shown – a screenshot of the error message.
Common Mistakes
Do not look for a log window in the app: there is currently no dedicated log window from which you can download error logs. We see the detailed logs on our side – which is why the project link is sufficient.
If the Problem Persists
Our support team is notified automatically whenever an upload fails. The team checks your model, continues processing it manually where possible, or gets in touch with you. Such cases also feed directly into the further development of our import algorithms.
