Short Answer
vyzn covers the key Swiss standards across the entire energy and sustainability workflow – from SIA 380/1 and SIA 180 through SIA 2032 and KBOB 2022 to SIA 2040, Minergie and SNBS 2.0. This means you work in a standards-compliant way throughout, without switching tools.
Why It Matters
Energy and sustainability verifications rely on different standards – from the energy calculation and embodied energy through to costs and certification. Because vyzn covers these standards end to end, you can handle the entire workflow in one tool and do not need to switch tools between work steps.
How It Works in vyzn
vyzn supports the standards by topic area as follows:
- Energy: SIA 380/1 (energy performance verification, calculated via the integrated Enerweb engine) as well as SIA 380:2015/2016 for the energy reference area.
- Summer thermal protection: SIA 180.
- Embodied energy / life cycle assessment of construction: SIA 2032 (including element groups according to the annex).
- Areas: SIA 416:2003 (among other things for the energy reference area, EBF).
- Life cycle assessment: material data based on KBOB 2022; limit value assessment according to SIA 2040:2017, Minergie, Minergie-ECO and SNBS 2.0.
- Costs: classification according to eBKP-H.
- Certification export: REIDA CSV (GHG Protocol and DGNB/SGNI variants) as well as Minergie Net Zero export.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does vyzn also support DGNB and QNG?
For DGNB and QNG, vyzn currently supports data export (e.g. REIDA for DGNB), but not yet a full standalone certification calculation. If this is central to your project, we will work with you to find the best approach.
