Are vyzn results accepted for certifications?

Last updated July 2, 2026

Short Answer

Yes – vyzn is designed to deliver the verifications and analyses you need for common Swiss certifications and labels. The label itself is always issued by the respective certification body (e.g. Minergie) – vyzn produces the calculations and verification documents you submit there.

How It Works in vyzn

  • Energy system verification according to SIA 380/1: You choose the verification type (MINERGIE-P, MINERGIE-A, MINERGIE-ECO or SIA 380/1) and the calculation mode (SIA 380/1:2016 with MuKEn 2014 or 2017) and receive the system verification as a PDF. Calculations run on the established Enerweb engine, so the values rest on a recognised calculation basis.
  • LCA/embodied energy based on the KBOB data (2022 edition): You download the LCA verification as a PDF, plus structured CSV exports – according to SIA/Switzerland, the GHG Protocol (60 years) and Minergie net zero.
  • Threshold assessment: For Minergie, Minergie-ECO and SNBS, vyzn directly shows whether components comply with or exceed the permissible thresholds.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does vyzn issue the label?

No – vyzn is not a certification portal. Formal recognition and review take place at the certification body; vyzn provides the necessary calculations and documents.

What does the quality of the results depend on?

On a clean model: vyzn transparently shows open validation notices (e.g. missing ERA zone or components without KBOB data) – as long as they exist, the values may be inaccurate.
