Can I give an external auditor access to the model without granting full project access?

Last updated July 2, 2026

Short Answer

Yes. Through our access management (Auth0), we can set up read-only access to your project for an external auditor. They can then see all data and the model but cannot edit or change anything.

Why It Matters

For certifications such as SNBS or Minergie, an external auditor needs to be able to view and review your project. With read-only access, you do not have to grant full project access – the auditor gets exactly the visibility they need, and nothing more.

How It Works in vyzn

Access management in vyzn runs on Auth0. Through it, we can set up read-only access to the project for an external auditor: they see all data and the model but cannot edit or change anything. Simply tell us who should be added with read-only rights – we will set up the access for you.

Practical Example

A certifier (e.g. for SNBS or Minergie) needs to review your project. You tell us who should be added, and we set up the read-only access. The certifier can then view and review the project without you having to grant full project access.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the auditor change anything in the project?

No. Read-only access only allows viewing the data and the model – the auditor cannot edit or change anything.

How do I set up the access?

You do not need to configure anything yourself. Simply tell us who should be added with read-only rights, and we will set up the access for you.
