Startupticker reports about vyzn

The building sector is one of the largest sources of CO2 in Switzerland. Besides heating or electricity consumption during the operation of a property, construction activities themselves also contribute significantly – whether it's a new build or a renovation.

In order to reduce CO2 emissions over the entire life cycle of a building, the ETH spin-off has developed BIM-based software that is intended to help achieve the most sustainable result possible as early as the planning phase. By uploading BIM or 3D models to vyzn's cloud-based platform, precise analyses can be carried out at the push of a button. The models can then be optimized in terms of building sustainability through short iterations.

This makes the entire process up to 50 percent faster, as manual measuring or cumbersome transmission of plans is no longer necessary," explains Martino Tschudi, co-founder of vyzn.

After a good nine months on the market, vyzn already counts more than 15 customers from German-speaking Switzerland. Among them are leading real estate developers such as HRS, the civil engineering firm Pirmin Jung, or the consulting company icccon, part of the Amstein + Walthert Group.

The Zurich-based startup is now focusing on the further development of its platform. Among other things, it is to be expanded with a circularity app and an AI copilot.
